Whew. That didn’t take as long as I expected, once I knew what needed to be done.

Please note that I have updated my services to include copy editing and proofreading of most nonfiction, as well as fiction. (Sorry, but I’m not equipped to handle manuscripts which feature technical, mathematical, scientific or medical terminology, equations or charts. For such manuscripts, it is best to work with someone who is knowledgeable in the specific subject.) Please see the Services page for full details.

I will post on Monday about a book I’ve recently read that should be of help to those who write fiction. Stay tuned!

For now, I will say to all who have a blog or website, back up your site frequently, and learn what the steps are when you need to restore your site. (Check with the company you use as a host server — they may have a restore feature.)

And again I say, whew.

  1. Glad it’s resolved. A low-cost way to keep a backup is ManageWP. There is a free version (one a month, I think) or $2 a month for daily. I believe JetPack also has some bundles for backups! It’s work it.
